The Slovenian Artificial Intelligence Factory (SLAIF) is a national initiative co-funded by EuroHPC, the European Commission, and the Republic of Slovenia. 

Its goals are to accelerate the adoption of artificial intelligence in industry, connect research, public, and private sectors, and strengthen Europe’s digital sovereignty.

SLAIF will establish advanced infrastructure for AI and high-performance computing, a unified access point for services and training, and secure FAIR-aligned data spaces.

The initiative will simplify access to AI tools for companies and public institutions while enhancing skills and knowledge in AI and HPC.

Its activities focus on four key domains: green transition, health and biotechnology, digital society, and AI for science.
