Peer 2 Peer Learning: Measuring Progress and the Practical Use of AI in Tourism

Date: 19. 06. 2025 at 09:00

We invite you to a two-day online workshop Peer 2 Peer Learning: Measuring Progress and Practical Use of AI in Tourism, which will take place on June 18 and 19, 2025, from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM each day. The workshop aims to foster concrete solutions for a sustainable and digital transition in tourism, with a focus on measuring progress, advisory support, and the practical use of artificial intelligence in everyday tourism-related tasks.

Sustainable and digital transitions are becoming key drivers of modern tourism development, especially in sensitive rural environments, where balancing development and spatial preservation is particularly important.
With this workshop, we aim to encourage knowledge exchange, present good practices, and highlight concrete challenges and opportunities for micro-providers and other stakeholders in sustainable tourism.

The workshop is based on the latest research findings on successful sustainable transitions and on the hands-on experience of speakers from research and development projects supporting sustainable and green growth.
The good practices showcased come from current projects in the COSME, Interreg, and Horizon 2020 programmes.
