How can we further support industrial symbiosis in Slovenia’s textile sector?

You are invited to the SYMCRAFT training session and workshop on further supporting industrial symbiosis in the textile sector, aimed at intermediary organisations supporting businesses and crafts, as well as companies from the craft, design and industrial sectors.

WHEN: Wednesday, 4 November 2026, from 9:00 to 13:30

We will present experiences and lessons learned from the implementation of the SYMCRAFT pilots, as well as the action plan and solutions for:

• developing new products and services from textile industrial residues and secondary materials,

• developing business models to bring these products and services to market,

• establishing models of cooperation between industry, crafts and design in the textile sector.

Following the introductory presentation, we will continue with a facilitated workshop to reflect together on what we have learned throughout the SYMCRAFT project, what companies need from intermediary organisations, and how these organisations can more effectively support the further development of industrial symbiosis in the textile sector after the SYMCRAFT project ends.

We warmly invite you to contribute your practical experience and help shape the next steps for supporting industrial symbiosis and the circular economy in the textile sector in Slovenia and Central Europe.
