BLUEWARE SLOVENIA - Let's accelerate the innovation cooperation for Slovenia's sustainable blue economy

At last year's event, we started the process of connecting companies, research organizations, policymakers and regulators, as well as non-governmental organizations and the interested public into a blue innovation community.

The blue economy includes all industries and sectors related to oceans, seas and coasts, whether their activities are carried out at sea or on land. Blue innovations are key to the sustainable use of the sea. These enable numerous business opportunities in traditional maritime sectors, while new sectors of the blue economy are also growing and developing rapidly.

At the same time, blue innovations ensure that the quality of the marine environment is not only sustainably maintained, but also gradually restored.

At this event we will:

• present the results of mapping technological and innovation potentials in the Slovenian blue economy and the technological and market trends that will shape the blue economy in the future,
• present innovative technological solutions and projects in the focus areas of the blue economy in Slovenia
• define which steps are necessary and what we can do together for the development and global breakthrough of the blue economy in Slovenia.

The event is intended for companies, research organizations, policymakers and regulators, organizations of a supportive and innovative environment, organizations for knowledge transfer and the public interested in a sustainable blue economy.
