The Next Round Investment Conference will bring together € 2 billion worth investors and best regional startups at more than 540 online meetings

At the ONLINE Next Round investment conference, on 20 and 21 October, foreign and domestic private investors will get the chance to meet the best regional start-ups looking for the next round investment for development and global growth.

More than 60 speakers and 80 investors from Central and Eastern Europe will gather this year, due to covid situation the conference will take place online.

This year’s event starts with our belief that Europe has the right ingredients to succeed in transitioning towards a new digital and green economy.

On October 20 experts, entrepreneurs and decision-makers will discuss how startups can play greater support in Europe's efforts to move to a digital and green economy and what models of support and financing for start-ups we need in the following years.

October 21 will be dedicated to one on one meetings between investors and startups, with 540 reserved slots to discuss best matched opportunities in seed, angel and scale up categories.

Best Slovenian startups also have the chance to close financing rounds with the help of up to 600k EUR matched co-financing by the Slovene Enterprise Fund >> Co-investment mechanism

Priority treatment of startups that apply by 30 September

Startups that register for the event by September 30 will receive priority treatment, full access to the online platform of the event, inclusion in the catalog and the ability to book appointments at meetings with investors. International speakers and entrepreneurs

We managed to attract more than 60 domestic and international speakers, including the President of both European Business Angels Associations and the Vice-President of the European Investment Bank, Ms. Lilijana Pavlova. Foreign speakers come from England, Germany, France, Portugal, the Czech Republic, Poland, Finland, Estonia, Russia, Hungary, Malta and the United States. Investors and venture capital funds are looking for big stories and breakthrough ideas

Participation in the conference was provided by representatives of funds with more than 2 billion euros of capital for investments in start-ups. These include SpeedInvest Austria, Fil Rouge Capital, Credo, South Central Ventures, Launchub, 3TS, Capital300 and other funds, as well as individual angel investors. >> Investors

Some have already invested in Slovenian companies and are aware that we have quality companies in Slovenia, with the potential to become future "unicorns", following the example of Outfil 7 and other success stories.
