What is an NFT?

An NFT (Non-fungible token) is a unit of data stored in a digital book called a blockchain that confirms that the digital asset is unique and therefore not interchangeable. You can use NFTs to represent elements such as photos, videos, audio, and other types of digital files.

The NFT market is growing tremendously and its development is a great opportunity to present digital art products and services in the field of economy. The first Tweet, the source code of the Internet, and countless artwork were already created as NFTs. Meanwhile more and more companies are choosing to enter this market. The latest in line are Visa and Budweiser as well as the fashion duo Dolce and Gabbana who released their digital clothing collection.

How to get Slovenia's NFT?

Visitors of the EXPO DUBAI 2020 will receive a promotional card which can then be used to collect an NFT coin.

On the back of the promotional NFT card, the visitor will find short instructions and a unique 8-digit number through which they will gain access to a digital wallet. From their web application, they will then be able to collect and view their exhibit (NFT). The collection also includes artistic drawings, the original mascot of Slovenia named Kokoška Fani (Chicken Fani) created under the auspices of Slovenian artists, and shows off Slovenian customs as well as traditional Slovenian dishes.
