EPTS d.o.o., founded in 2007 as a competence centre, is engaged in the development of prototype technological solutions connected with data displays using electronic paper from the American company E Ink. The solutions offer considerable advantages over existing display technologies (LED, LCD etc.), as they represent a revolution in stability, flexibility, readability, durability, sturdiness and size.
As a competence centre the company provides comprehensive solutions through a combination of complementary technologies, implementation of new solutions, network expansion and promotion of new technologies.
Main characteristics of electronic paper:
• bistability: the image remains visible without power
• physical flexibility: displays can be bent
• excellent separation, contrast and readability: similar to printed paper
• wide visibility angle, unlimited choice of shapes (round, star etc.)
• sturdiness: displays are made of plastic sheets
EPTS operates in the fields of:
• consultancy and training in electronic paper technology
• production of prototypes
• manufacture of in-house products and products for end users
• expansion of the sales network and distribution of E Ink technology
• assistance in setting up mass production
Electronic paper displays can be used to make completely new products.
