Technology Park Ljubljana will host the representatives of the transnational development project FIDIBE (Development of Innovative Business Parks to Foster Innovation and Entrepreneurship).

FIDIBE has been selected within the South East Europe Transnational Cooperation Programme. Its aim is to facilitate innovation and entrepreneurship in South East Europe. 

Nine partners from seven countries joined the project. Each partner plays a leading role in the field of innovation and business park development in its region and even on international level.

The main objectives are:

•  to increase the innovative potential and competitiveness of the SEE area with the development and support of competitive and innovative small and medium-sized enterprises operating in the Area,
• to facilitate innovation, promote entrepreneurship and the development of knowledge economy in the SEE area,
• to decrease the big disparity in economic development in the SEE area.

At the Steering Committe meeting partners will present a draft study of the state of innovation and entrepreneurship in their region e.g. country Slovenia, Italy, Hungary, Greece, Croatia, Romania and Slovakia.
